A Safe Space for Growth and Healing

I studied social work and public health at Columbia University and have been a therapist for almost 20 years. My approach is client-centered and rooted in analytic training, but also practical—I draw from evidence-based approaches like DBT, ACT, and CBT. I specialize in working with emerging adults, women with ADHD, and also offer executive functioning coaching and supervision for new therapists. Located in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, my office is a welcoming space for growth and reflection.

My approach is client-centered and rooted in analytic training, which will help us explore the deeper patterns that shape your inner world. At the same time, I’m also practical—I draw from evidence-based approaches like DBT, ACT, and CBT when it’s helpful, so our work stays grounded and effective.

How I Can Help

Below are some of the ways I can support you on your journey. If you're not sure what you need, we can figure it out together.

Emerging adults:

I specialize in working with emerging adults, people navigating the complex and transformative years of early adulthood. Whether you're facing life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or just feeling stuck, I can offer you a space for reflection and growth.

EF coaching:

In addition to psychotherapy, I also offer executive functioning coaching as a distinct part of my practice. This work is structured, goal-oriented, and focused on practical skills like organization, time management, planning, and follow-through. It’s especially valuable for individuals who feel capable but overwhelmed—people who know what they want to do, but struggle with how to get it done. Over the years I have worked especially well with women with ADHD, who tend to present differently than men and are frequently overlooked or misdiagnosed. Many of these women developed strong coping mechanisms but still carry a sense of shame or self-doubt around productivity and focus. Our work together can help untangle those patterns, build tools that actually fit how your brain works, and support you in showing up more fully and confidently in your life.

Supervision:

Are you a new therapist looking to deepen your clinical skills and confidence? I offer individual supervision grounded in a psychodynamic framework, with a focus on helping early-career clinicians develop a strong foundation in theory, case formulation, and therapeutic presence. I aim for supervision to be grounded in safety, collaboration, and a deep respect for your process. Together, we’ll explore clinical material through a relational and reflective lens, integrating theory with your lived experience in the room. We’ll talk about transference, countertransference, unconscious dynamics, and all the “stuck” moments that can feel hard to bring up elsewhere. I want supervision to build on your natural strengths – your intuition, insight, and emerging style as a therapist – so you can grow with confidence and authenticity. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, curious, and free to bring your full self.

My Approach

A Journey client-centered and rooted in analytic training

1

Building a Therapeutic Relationship

We start by creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to talk openly. This relationship is the foundation of our work together.

2

Exploring Your Past and Present

We’ll take time to understand how your early experiences and relationships may be shaping how you feel and respond in your life today.

3

Recognizing Patterns and Core Themes

As we talk, we’ll begin to notice recurring emotional patterns, thoughts, or behaviors that might be affecting your well-being or relationships.

4

Creating Meaningful Change

With greater understanding of these patterns, you’ll be able to make more intentional choices, improve how you relate to yourself and others, and find relief from emotional distress.
